Hi There, New user here, I am in Australia, and got married to my wife here in Australia. She is Thai (Why thank you Captain Obvious) but also holds an Australian passport. Having been here for about 11 years now she is starting to get a bit homesick. Basically I was wondering whether its possible to have my Australian marriage registered/recognised in Thailand. Cheers, Anthony

It is already. If you want to use it for one year extension of stay inside Thailand than you have to translate into Thai with your Embassy approval and register at Ministry of Foreign Affairs here and then take to a District Office. For anything else there is no need for such action.

For arrival here all you need is to provide a copy to a Thai Consulate for a non immigrant O visa entry visa. Be sure any HHE shipment is made by your wife as a returning citizen.
