I currently work for a university in bangkok but i want to head back to my home country soon but its not the end of the contract. but i would like to travel abit for a month around thailand before going home.

I currently hold a full non b and work permit valid until july 2006 but it has no re entry stamp.

i want change it to a tourist visa hopefuly without leaving the country as my old visa will be cancelled after 7days of leaving the job and i dont want to overstay and have problems at the airport when i leave.

any ideas on what i could do?

You can't mate you'll have to leave the country chap and appy for one (a 30 day stamp in is not a tourist Visa, but is another option).

in that case ill forget the travel and head off after the 7day period at the end of the month ill go and travel around in another place on the way home for a month then head back to melbourne.
