I have been trying to find a good Chiropractor with knowledge of the Webster Technique in Bangkok.

The info in the forums here is from quite a few years ago (most seem to have moved on, websites defunct etc), so am wondering of those on Thai Visa who still go to Chirpractors, who are you seeing, and where are they located now?

Any places to avoid?

There are only 15 chiros listed on the Thailand Chirpractor website, so am wondering why too... I note that Dr Don (who seems to get favourable mentions in some old threads) is not one of them.

Also, have been struggling to find a chiro with knowledge of the Webster Technique, which is pretty basic, and my Aus chiro thought I would have no probs finding if chiro is trained in USA. Have yet to find one (that will reply to me anyway).

Also wondering if anyone has had any experience seeing an Alexander Technique practioner in Bangkok - are there any here that are any good?

Thanks in advance if you post any tips, as would be really grateful or any info I can get.

You can contact Dr Oat at Sukhumvit 55 he is the head of the chiropractic association of Thailand on 023921400 there are others some good some not so. As for Dr Don I've been told he is a heavy adjuster alright for big guys ,a friend saw him a couple of years ago and had dizzy attacks for weeks after he adjusted his neck. Then there is Dr Vaughn 021293099 who mostly uses an activator .A Dr Leoni at Ekamai which Iv'e been told over services and over charges 2000 plus a visit . I normally see Dr Santi 022377003 at Silom plaza who I find works for me.

You also can google the Thailand Chiropractic association which has all it's members on the site.

Also there are a lot of chiros that are not members the Association and therefor registered with the health department and are so called illigally working in the land of smiles.

See this thread

although it is several years old so not sure this person is still in Thailand.

one of the difficulties with this type of thing is that many of the practitioners (all in the case of Alexander technique) are westerners and they are a highly mobile group.

Thanks for posting.

Update: my GP contacted Mark Leoni, who recomended Dr Phillip at TRIA in Piyavate, who is actually mainly a pediatric chiropractor.

I have been twice and feel great.

You get to use the spa facilities free after your treatment (though being pregnant I can only really use the vitality pool, but is fine by me as get it to myself anyway).

Price was 2,500b for initial consult, 1,500b for follow up.

Definitely recomended.
