Here in Pattaya I've become a Pattaya layabout....and I need something to occupy my self. Re-shelling a wreck. Back in Oz I did this several times before they (government wallies) made it hard to do. Basically I buy a wreck and get a new shell with hang on panels (plus whatever glass I need and other bits) park the wreck in the garage next to the shell and basically swap everything over. Now I have to point out it was a little hard the first few times, and I did have to pull a few bits out to fit other bits and then re-fit the first bits a second time. But overall I saved some serious coin.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Anyone doing it in LOS now?

From the number of responses, or lack of them, I get the feeling I am covering new ground!

I would imagine that the Thai's are doing it a lot as there are SO MANY parts yards where you can buy front and rear ends (more fronts, for obvious reasons)
