Dtac 3G - Where?

Featured Replies

I have a Nokia smartphone which supports all 3G frequencies (850, 900, 2100) in Thailand.

And I have a DTAC data plan.

But everywhere I go in Bangkok, there is only GPRS/Edge, no 3G.

DTAC is supposed to have some limited 3G somewhere in BKK. I thought around Siam square, Paragon I may be able to connect.

No way.

So is this DTAC-3G only vaporware? Has anybody ever used DTAC-3G?

IIRC, the reports were that there DTAC only has 3G *in* Siam Square currently. Sounds strange, but I'm pretty sure that I've read that a couple times.
