Tablet Computers In Thailand

Featured Replies

Anybody got any ideas when the Samsung Galaxy Tab goes on sale here in Thailand?

Any ideas on price- I'm guessing 18,000.

I know yesterday was the first day for sale in some other countries.

Fancy getting one.

However, whilst doing a bit of research on it- I came across the Motorola Xoom which also seems pretty good (ports wise)

Anyone got any experience of one, got any thoughts on which is best?

Don't fancy an Apple Ipad.

Also- what do you reckon would be the best way to get one- do they take pre-orders? Any internet shops selling It like this in Thailand?

Not come across any yet.

Cheers for any feedback.

There are several tablet threads going concurrently in this sub-forum and the mobile sub-forums. Maybe a mod could merge, and pin, all the tablet threads? Or maybe group by manufacturer?

My sense is that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi or WiFi/3G models are not currently available here, save for some grey-market imports perhaps? I looked quickly for some local ETDs but came up empty.

  • 3 months later...

just checking with friend in HK been told the new Samsung Galaxy 10.1 is only 13,730B for 16gb wifi.

online i found the 3g 16gb model for 18,107B and 14,180B for wifi from HK, if my friend can get it cheaper in person then i'll be stoked.

Tab 10.1 are only 14,900 and 18,900 retail here in Thailand with full warranty so not sure I would make a trip to HK to buy. Big C Extra had them for sale this weekend so easily found.
