Confusion About Airports

Featured Replies

hello guys

i am arriving first time in thailand at bkk suvarnabhumi int airport from cyprus and wish to fly on to ubon ratchani airport.

i know that the domestic airport is far from the international and would need to take taxi.

my confusion is seeing the map of suarnabhumi airport and it shows a domestic arrive/ departure section.

so is it possible to fly ubon ratchani from suvarnabhumi using the domestice section there.

if not and i need go don muang, which is the recomended transportation for quickness and the cost if you know.

i am sure i will learn all things soon like you guys

thanks in advance

what airline ?...this determines where you would fly from...also your ticket will tell you

AirAsia and Thai Air fly from Swampy. NOK Air from Don Muang which is about 30 minutes taxi ride. AirAsia has ( I think ) two flights a day, early morning and evening. :)

If you fly from Swampy to Ubon, go through immigration, then baggage claim then customs then when out go up via the moving walk ways to departures. Internal flight gates are to your left.

Have you booked already? If so, if it says BKK-UBP, you go from the same airport you arrived at. If it says DMK-UBP, you need to take a taxi.
