D-Link 655

I have a d-link 655 and i am trying to use the USB shareport utilty but keeps telling I have ho devices attached. Also when I plug in a usb device (printer) there is no light.

have googled and d-link forums etc and no luck with a solution. hope someone here has got it to work.

I don't have it, but a quick search came up with the following:

- Which Firmware are you running ?

- In setup go to the USB settings and make sure it's set for Network USB

Definately have the latest firmware and the latest share port utility and have it set for USB.

What i found was the same as in the link you posted works for some and don't work for others.

i just uninstalled the shareport utilty program and reinstalled it, and it recognized the printer for a few seconds and then stopped working.

got me stuffed.
