Sony Ericsson has launched its Xperia Play slider gaming Android phone to the Thai market at 17,900 Baht.

The phone comes with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has a unique gaming pad and button layout similar to a PSP. It has a 5 Megapixel camera, 4-inch screen and comes with an 8 GB micro SD card (expandable to 32 GB).

The price includes a multimedia dock. The Xperia Play is available immediately through Sony-Ericsson shops, Synnex, TG Fone and Sony Style shops nationwide.
