Reliable Honest P/t Maid Req'd - Share?

Featured Replies

I should be working from home, and will, once I can get some reliable help in the house. But how best to find someone honest and reliable ? How much to pay? By day or by hour? What is fair?Looking for three times a week, but flexible.

Both neighbours have family living in, so no help there.

Very interested to learn how others have done it, and other readers experiences. I can imagine there are pitfalls as well.

We live in a biggish house near Mabprachan in Pattaya. Maybe someone near would like to 'maid-share'??

Whilst writing - a huge thanks to all who gave such fantastic information on vets. Dr Sukit in Naklua is the nearest to a European Vet I have found yet. Many many thanks. And thanks from Elvis (the puppy), who is recovering nicely.

I have a very good maid and will ask her if she needs more work. The best way to find someone reliable is to ask any Thai people you are friendly with.

Where on the puddle are you?

Don't worry I'm not a stalker,it's bound to be the first question she asks :o

100-200 Baht for one day cleaing, including washing clothes.

Sometimes 100 Baht extra and I think that is overpaid.

She has free time but as she is in Bangkok it is not an option

Hullo Connor, many thanks for your reply. Would be wonderful if your maid needed some extra work. Was thinking of three days a week, but flexible.

As regards where on the puddle, we are near a temple (Wat Tong?) and Mabprachan school, in Black Forrest Village area. There are only three of us in the house, and no children. I think we are fairly easy, and easy-going too.

Will wait to hear - my thanks again.

My gf forgot to ask the maid when she arrived today but I will speak to her on Monday.

I live in the same area as you, P.S Land and Village,so travelling won't be a problem.

With regards to wages I've always believed that if you pay minimum wage you get minimum service.

I pay her 300 a day and the house is always spotless.

Many thanks for the information on maids - I'll keep looking!
