We're taking a long weekend on Koh Chang, strategically timed with a border run. Which is "nicer", Pong Nam Ron in Chantaburi or Had Lek in Trat? I assume the sensible route to Pong Nam Ron is along the coast via Chantaburi town. By nice I'm talking about scenery, and also how stressful the border crossing is.

Also, anyone know when the last car ferry is, at this time of year? We might not be leaving BKK until around midday, so might either have to rush, or take it easy and stay somewhere in Trat town/coast.
