3G Dongle

Featured Replies

I am having some WiFi trouble accessing the internet.

I've googled, but am looking form more info on the 3g dongle.

You just plug it into a USB port to access the internet?

Unlimited usage time?

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but thesee dongles connect to a phone network (3G) and are pay-as-you go or mobile phone type contracts.

Therefore, it can prove expensive.

You canot just type in a password/code or acces unsecured as you do with wifi.

Admittedly, some hotels charge for the latter, but most do not nowadays. I don't know about coffee shops etc. I use two bars which just give you the code and you can surf at will for free.

That's what I've always thought.

We need an expert now.

Hi!

Read previous post. What is your location?

"Mobile Broadband" they call it;it works in different way in any location.

Very easy implementation, which you may try is Celcom in Malaysia.

You can try it also in Singapore and HongKong. All - prepaid;quite cheap - StarHub in Singapore will cost you 350B/week/unlimited.

You need 3G dongle,or mobile with 3G.
