Multi Entry O Visa Question

Featured Replies

My Situation:

I'm over 50yrs old and married to a Thai with a young family

We live permanently in Thailand

I still work so enter/depart Thailand every six weeks or so - I expect to remain working for the next 3yrs

To date I have been renewing a Multiple O Visa in Hull based upon marriage

My question is this..........What is the most pratical way of renewing my Multi O

---Continue renewal in Hull

---Renew In Thailand

If I renew in Thailand are there any problems with multiple entry

Thanks

If you leave for the UK every 6 weeks or so. I'd say keep on doing what you've been doing.

Get a new O-visa from Hull about once a year, based on marriage.

Less hassle, than having to go to immigration for re-entry permits and annual renewals.

It should also be a bit more cost effective. Then again, other might think differently.

You can not obtain a visa in Thailand so either obtain from Hull or use KL (with 100k in a bank account) or other consulate as the visa entry fits your work/travel better than the one year extension of stay from Immigration inside Thailand (which you would not find easy to obtain because only issued during last 30 days of a 90 day stay and you must return in 30 days to get final stamp).

I'm married too and looked into the Various options the 'o' Visa fits me perfectly.

My advise to you if it's not broke don't fix it :-)
