Wat Chak Yai

Less than 1km past the entrance to Namtok Phlio National Park on Sukhumvit #3 heading south from Chanthaburi, turn right (signposted to Laem Sing) and less then 400m away is the entrance to the Wat Chak Yai Buddha Park

It's approx 20 acres featuring temple building and hundreds of sculptures depicting the life and stories of the Lord Buddha.

Some monks live in little houses underneath the statues, and there's always something new being built, interesting to watch the sculptors at work.

From here you can follow the road to the coast at Laem Sing, 15km away . . . more here
