I have in one of my lost mind moments said yes to my thaichick to buy a house in burriram which her fater has built it will cost about 200kbth with about 1 rai ground.

House made of wood ,not to fancy i think,have not seen it yet.

I have looked at some maps and i think it is quite central and near some main road.

She tells me it is cheap because it is within the family.For sale to other person the price would be higher.

I am not sure about the prices in Burriram but is it a good deal or not.

Is there something i should know about buying a house in thailand.

I have heard that you can buy a smal appartment up to 50 sqm in your own name, but bigger houses/appartments you must share with a thai person.......
