I was at Walking Street entrance on the 29th Oct and saw the neon lights at the entrance showing "WA ING STREET" -

My theory as to where it went, is that it fell into the big hole that you can see in the street ( foreground )

They then quickly concreted over the top to get the traffic flowing again

Maybe they will make a roundabout which would ease the flow of oncoming traffic from w-street during day time and a circle point for baht buses where they can circle around and pick up customers from walking street?
