Ketosix

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anyone happen to know where to buy Ketostix in Thailand, preferable Bangkok but anywhere is ok. We have enquired at local government hospitals and pharmacies but no luck so far.

Thanks and regards,

Falcon

How about we put this in the Health Forum? Topic Moved.

I don't think that specific brand has ever been available in Thailand,

urine dipsticks that test for ketones that used to be available, but I don't know if still are, include:

Keto-Diastix (Bayer)

Chek-Stix (Bayer)

Multistix (Bayer)

Combur 8/9/10 (Zuellig)

You could try asking for these. I believe Multistix was the more commonly available, in fact I bought it once but it was more than 7 years ago, obtained it at a pharmacy on Rachawithi Road near Victory Monument, there are several there opposite the hospital.

if this doesn't work you might call Bayer and Zuellig since these are the manufacturers, they could tell you what brands if any are still being distributed in Thailand and perhaps the names of some pharmacies they have distributed to.

Ketur-Test (Zuellig)
