What Is The Best Bar In Hua Hin?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

just interested to know what everybody thinks is the best bar in Hua Hin and for what reason!

My votes go to (not in any order):-

- Papillon Bar: when Martin is in it's always packed. Small but friendly and good pool table

- TNT bar: again when Colin is there it's great. Always good hospitality provided by big col

- Valentine Bar: used to be in here every night. Crap decor, but friendly girls and good place to sit and watch everybody go by

- Papayitas: even though I never go there, when I do I always think "this is what a bar should be"

- Starfish Bar: great music and cosy. Crazy staff......

Of course there are more not around Bintabaht.

Any preferences?

If i want to chill out and listen to music then i like El murphys. otherwise if i'm just street looking that cool looking one with the comfy chairs out front at Hilton end.

If i'm looking for girls any bar were they are blind enough to shout ' hello HANDSOME man' :D

Cant get my head round this one; "- Papayitas: even though I never go there, when I do I always think "this is what a bar should be""

Even though I NEVER go there, when I do I always think this is what a bar should be"

DO YOU GO THERE OR NOT?

99% of the bars are the same, pool table and whores, some have nicer decore than other's, same old same old.

El Murphy's in my experience ---- good music --- good bands --- good food --- good sport --- lots of coverage on lots of tvs --- girls mostly seem to be freelancers.

It's right in the middle of the bar area, and there's lots of people wandering in and out.

Yes I realised the contradictory statement! :-) what I meant was that I don't frequent it as a regular haunt but occasionally pop in, and when I do I think it's pretty good and always intend to go back, but rarely do. Apologies for the poorly worded original sentence! :-)
