an now now friend canary, i've got norwich to stay up. think your home form and holt's goals could be enough. plus i think your manager's a decent scrapper when required.

Ok I'm taking the piss a bit. Norwich might stay up.

you're twelve months late o bitter blue. this time last year we were genuinely on the way to that sort of finish.

As you say there would be far less to whinge about if people would simply accept the fact that it is pure money that is buying up winning the title. It is when people argue along the lines of 'Mancini is a better manager than Ferguson - look at what he has achieved over the last 18 months' that it irritates me.

What annoys me are people who use non-existent statements to try and justify their own view. As much as we hate the RAGS, ALL City fans I know respect what Fergusson has done and NONE have said that Mancini is better than him. Mancini has still to prove himself and all true City fans well know this.

Can you point me to a source of those City fans who argue this point?

Absolutely mate.

Abrak really spouts so much sh!te on here, basically because he knows sweet FA about football. Much as though I dislike Fergie, He is a fantastic manager with unprecedented achievments. I know of nobody who would even dare compare Mancini with Ferguson, and I like Mancini!!

What p!sses me off on here is the obvious jealousy with numpties slagging City off because we have money. Its the first time that we have had real dosh. Many other clubs have had the taste of success with money (Blackburn for example) Its just that there is more money than ever involved now, and we are fortunate enough to have supremely rich owners. But to now start belittling City because we have money, is just <deleted> in my opinion.

Whoops its time to adjust my prediction. !% might think the money thing is <deleted> but i'll venture the other 99% are correct and its not about have rather a lot like Blackburn is it!! Its more like having more money tan the continent of africa and spending thoroughly uncouthed amounts of it. I'm not jeaous because i'd get no satisfaction and thats honest Mr BJ (its you i'm talking to btw ;) ) whether you believe me or not. However i am glad if you guys get some payback to all the nowegians, aussies, yanks, asians and folks from cornwall that endlessly spout on about Utd.

Anyway here it is

1 (Incredible amounts of money) City

2 ( not quite as much money sadly but they still have the best manager) Utd

3 (Sickening amounts of cash to waste but not quite as much as City) Chelski

4 Who cares, they have'nt enough cash

You dont know anybody? Why not read this thread?

That's it. That's your one solitary source to which you then try and tar all City fans with the same brush.

That's fair enough buddy.

It's funny really. Everyone was telling us only a couple of years ago, money can't buy you success. But now it's looking like we are a dangerous threat to the title, people will say we bought it. To be honest, I really don't mind because what that money has brought to us, is the a type of footballing class and flair that we only saw at City from the visitors. Now, my mouth waters when I see our team sheet.

You also need to remember that the Sheikh is investing a lot in the community. What have the Glazer's done to the community? I think they painted Lou Macaries Chippie.

Thats a very fair comment about your detractors and i agree. I also enjoyed your style of football a couple of weeks ago but would have preferred it was against someone else. You are over reaching with the "sheikh helping the community" bit though. :) Frankly, i'm fine with City and their billions as long as they produce entertaining football which you are. Its the fans though that have the raw nerve about the spending related to the success that irritate me. Thats all. Oh, and the fact that with 31m in the bank we did'nt pay 12m for Cahill when were leaking like the Titanic.

It's massive Carms. An 80 acre site (waste land really) being totally redeveloped. I don't know of any other owner of a football club who has done anything on the same scale of this.

[Liverpool down? Hmmmm, I bet my last dollar they will not...........you need to visit Suanprung Hospital to get some medicine, a long term one. That will heal your stress because you will not even see Pool near the bottom. 1. Man U

2. City

3. Chelsea

4. Tottenham

Down

1. Norwich

Yeah TP but I haven't seen anything from any of the newcomers that makes me think that one of them can stand the pace and have the depth in the squad to handle christmas period etc. Usually, at least one of them will start off well and fade later but not any of these. The other prem teams i.e. Blackburn have the experience in the prem to at least battle it out at the end. IMO of course.

Blackburn could also spend if they have to, as can QPR now Tony Fernandes is on board. My thinking was that when push comes to shove Colin is better geared up for the scrap and should keep Rangers up.

Well the finishing line is getting ever closer, many of us have predicted the top two.......but we really have underestimated Norwich and especially Swansea

Nearly everyone (including me) had them as the "Dead Certs" to go down.

All I can say is thanks to those two teams for providing such a breath of fresh air in the league.clap2.gif

I'm crossing my fingers that Reading may have a similar opportunity next year, Really hoping I can celebrate an automatic promotiondrunk.gif

Yeah. Good luck with that TP. It's looking very tight at the top.

Most of us had Liverpool in the top four, for myself it was the expectations with KD having his first full season back in charge and the amount of big money new signings he made.

Must be disappointing for Liverpool fans as I am sure their expectations were way higher than mine

Well you were dead right SteveieH thanks for the support earlier in the season, Holts goals have made the difference, I wish he got the opportunity to do it for England
