i know it's the law to have a degree to teach and get a work permit in thailand, but my question here is does it really matter whether it's an FdA or BA degree?

An FdA degree in the UK is essentially the first 2 years of a 3 year BA degree. it follows the same route of study, except the last year isn't complete to be able to get the honours part of the degree.. so a BA (without hons).

most schools ask for a BA degree as standard, i was just wondering if that's them setting their own standards or whether this comes from the MOE as a minimum prerequisite to be able to teach.

anybody have idea or is there anyone out there teaching with an FdA degree??
