I was using a 1-2-Call card a couple of years ago.

The pay as you go type.

Will it still work or will I have to buy a new card/new number?

New DTAC is 199baht, new 1-2Call is 299 (but why give the money to Toxin?).

Ive heard from another forum that a passport has to be shown.....

So what is the reason for registering the sims?

Is it another type of tax for farangs?

Or is it another tax for all?

Sounds like I live in the UK and used to getting taxed on everything

Are these sims available in Bkk airport?

I`m going to pattaya for a weeks when I arrive and the wife`s going straight to CM.

And we ike to keep in touch

Because she likes to I`m safe

There is no charge as far as I know.

Perhaps 1 baht for a photocopy of your passport.

Dunno - never actually looked to see if you can buy one at the airport - always arrived too late when everything is shut.
