I am receiving a number of households items from my previous posting in Dubai plus some model railway articles. I would like to know what would be the duty I need to pay on these...Has anybody received items from abroad before here in Bangkok? The items will be received at bangkok Port (Phra phradaeng)

as you are here on a WP there should be no duty levied if imported within the first 3 months of your work.

The model railway magazines sound a bit dodgy though, are there any anoraks in the shipment too?

On more serious note....thought you could bring your model trains in within 6 months on a WP

Actually articles means actual model trains....no anoraks , but there is a telescope, sometimes i use it to see the stars and planets....:jap:
