Directions To Village From Buriram

Hello,

I am returning to Buriram in October and want to visit some friends from their village but have only a slight idea of how to get there. Can somebody help me pinpoint where this is.

B.Nongpoon T.Songchan A.Krasang, Buriram, 31160

Trying to figure this out

Buriram = Province?

Krasang = County?

Songchan = City?

Nongpoon = Village?

From what I remember its on 226 leaving Buriram and heading towards Surin but the rest is foggy.

You need the Village Number/Name I presume B Nongpoon is the Baan/House name

Buriam is the Jangwat or Province

Krasang is the Ampoe District

Songchan is the Tambon or Sub-District

In upcountry Thailand ampoe's only have one or two post codes outside the main provincial city.

Indeed Songchan is on the 226 about halfway between Buriram and Surin.

Travel from Buriram towards Surin. After about 20kms the road becomes a dual carriageway. The road at this point turns sharply to the right and then sharply to the left. There is a row of shops on the right. At the next left bend you will see a school on the right hand side. There is a bus shelter opposite. That is the "centre" of T Songchan. At that point I would ask someone where "Moo Baan 15" is.

Thank you for the detailed response, I will give it a shot. I remember some shops nearby where they lived, so it must be pretty close to that.
