Mr. BHOKIN said that the General Assembly of AAAP, attended by representatives from more than 40 countries. He said the Thai Parliament will propose many issues ranging from terrorism, epidemics, to natural disaster during this conference. The Thai Parliament will also propose the plan of shortening the scheduling time for the meeting down from 5 years, to encourage closer cooperation. He requested that all MPs should participate in the meeting.

Meanwhile, the MPs have made a proposal, asking the Parliament to offer a suggestion at the assembly. The proposal is to lift the United Nations Human Rights Commissions into the Human Rights Council. This would demonstrate Thailand’s stance in promoting human rights and civil rights.
