Another Angle On Holidays To Phuket

Featured Replies

Ridiculous, the translation has nothing to do with what is being said.

No humor at all IMO.

Lost track, is this the 3rd or 4th time this video has been posted on Thaivisa?

I don't know what you are talking about. This is a scene from a movie where Hitler was really planning a trip to Phuket.

At least the fifth version I have seen. The best one was when they gave Hitler a BMW motorbike for his birthday.

Originally hilarious, but, now a bit long-in-the-tooth.

I now see that Wellington has just ripped it off from the Phuket news source that cannot be named.

First time i have seen it, certainly makes the point about jet Sky's and Tuk Tuks

Quite a few embassies are warning there citizens about the same thing on there web sites

Pity the local authorities do not take any notice

A few bad Thai people making it hard for all the good ones

In my opinion Thailand is still the land of smiles, you just have to smile back

well i thought it was very good !,

I was referring to this version. At least the 3rd time I have seen it on ThaiVisa. There is another about Phuket. The other is about a couple people's negative experience with a local technical dive shop.

These dialog substituted Hitler videos are all over Youtube at the moment.

Some are quite funny, others not so much.

Talking about Patong, I'm currently reading the latest Bourne novel and the first chapter (prologue) is set on Patong beach!

Vicious people are out to get him, so Bourne has to dispatch several divers and some nasty jetski riders just off the beach before battling 12 foot man eating sharks in the dark depths a little further out.

:o

(Wonder if he can be hired for a permanent solution to problems on the beach! B) )

If their are 12 foot man eating sharks patrolling Patong beach this will put paid to tourist's swimming, na don't be silly tourist's will swim what ever the risk!!

You can't put all the blame on the Jet ski and Tuk Tuk operators, tourists get the warnings but mostly ignore them, holiday means no brain activity and any risk is worth taking hey we are on holiday!!

It actually came to me from Europe yesterday, before the unnamable news source spied it.

~I hadn't seen it before,and laughed.

It is pertinent to the disgrace of the non curable TT problem.

I've not seen any of the Hitler clips before

I thought it was very funny :D

Look at the one with Ronaldo now thats funny

Yes, seems at Patong Beach they are quite able to navigate safely by the brown trouts and blind mullets.............

I had never seen this clip before. I thought it was very funny. It just goes to show that the tuk-tuk situation here has made Phuket the laughing stock of tourism in Thailand, and the rest of the world.

I believe the clip was recently filmed in a public school in Chiang Mai. :) :) :) :)

Ummm, are you talking about the risk of being scammed, or the risk of actually scratching the jet-ski? One risk is very high, the other is very low.

In relation to the tuk-tuks, transport is an essential service. It's not quite as essential as food, water and shelter, but it's not that far behind, when you are talking about tourism, tourists and holidays. The cartel colludes to create an "out of line" price for the service. When a "newby" gets the price, 400 metres down the road, a disagreement starts which ends up in the tourist being assaulted. Who really cares he they deserved it, if they are stupid, if they were drunk etc etc etc etc - it's just a sad part of visiting and/or living in Phuket, and, as shown by this video clip, it's now become a joke.

The best one was when someone did it about Eden divers in Phuket, now that was really funny

Yes, those investors were screwed, but anyone who knows something about diving here could see that coming.

Their breakfast was good though :)

These are hilarious. How long have they been around for? It's the first I've seen of them.

I saw the first one about the BMW bought for Hitler at least four years ago.

Here it is. Still the best.

The one about Eden divers came out almost immediately after the company folded, I was crying with laughter when I saw it. A lot of my dive buddies enjoyed it too
