PAD All Set To Fight Thaksin's Return

Featured Replies

A peacefull demonstration? Is that how you characterize the complete shut down of an international airport? "merely a minor offense"??? Am I allowed to say Holy S#%T?How about this; ABSURD.

The level of how 'peaceful' an action is is determined by the amount of violence during the event, not how inconvenient the sit-in action was to you.

How about illegal? Does that work for you?

Of course, no-one is disputing that it was an occupation.

The PAD airport shutdown and their protests were definitely NOT peaceful. But then when they stopped, the city was intact wasn't it? Any buildings in smoky ruins?

Absolutely illegal. Someone should have arrested all those grannies and children. I'm really surprised they didn't. Oh, and BTW , the PAD didn't shut down the airport. I don't believe that was ever their intention (though it might have been). It was the AOT who shut it down.

A post insulting another member and a response to that post has been deleted. If you cannot debate and discuss in a civil manner like grown adults that know how to mind their manners then don't post at all. Do it again and I will gladly suspend accounts.

Again, this preposterous misrepresentation is propagated on TVF. The AOT were legally obliged to close the airport under international aviation law because PAD activists had breached airside security. And the PAD activists who breached airside security weren't grannies or children, just like the baseball bat-wielding PAD thugs/guards who closed all the airport access roads weren't grannies or children.

None.

It was re-opened within 2 days, whereas a number of burned out buildings still haven't re-opened.
