May seem a bit silly but last year someone innocently asked if this was a Brit only event. So, in case anyone's wondering, it's open to absolutely everyone, great day out, great cause too!

Quote from Ploenchit Fair website mentioned above-

"You will find almost every nationality enjoying the Ploenchit Fair. Of course there are many Brits but there are even more Thais. You will also find many Australians, Canadians, Americans, Europeans of various nationalities and many Asian nations are represented. All continents are represented, we even have a Penguin! (If you don't know what this means, you will have to go to the Fair to find out)".

Ok, if that wasn't enough encouragement, we can all agree Brits are aces in the ale dept: :D

"The Crown and Anchor Bar with Victoria Bitter and Speckled Hen, Tiger Bar, O’Rileys Wine and Guinness Bar, Robin Hood’s John Smiths draught, B-Bar with rum cocktails and the Paulaner will quench your thirst and provide liquid refreshment all day". :o

I miss the atmosphere of the Ploenchit Fair from the time it used to be held at the British embassy compound. I understand the security concern, but is there any chance in the future the fair will be held in Ploenchit again? :o

Going - going going! And I'm Irish! LOL! Looking forward to the food and the music and oh yeah I'm hoping they have The Boots shop again! Cheap, cheap cheap! Still have stuff left from last year! I've been hyping it up all week to my colleagues at work and friends!

Thers some particularly good prizes on the raffle this year, lots of flights on offer, been giving the raffle tickets out at work as little prizes, kept everybody happy (Mind you they all think there going to win the Biz Class seats to London!!)

Seeing as the fair is tomorrow, thought I'd pop this topic back up to the top :o

Well I think a good day was had by all, I won 3 bottles of booze on the Bingo, along with a load of laundry detergent on the lucky draw so I'll be very drunk and have some nice clean clothes for the next week.

Good food, cheap tins of VB at 50 Baht which went down to 25 Baht later in the day. Good bands and entertainment. Looking forward to next years.

Although overall it was great + good entertainment bands, I was disappointed with the Tiger beer staff.

100 baht for a 500 ML Jug of Beer. As I started ordering it, they said no more Jugs left. So for one 250 ML glass of Beer still paid 100 baht.

What a ######en bastards.
