Udon Bus Station

Featured Replies

Please can someone tell me, does Udon have more than one bus station, and if so which is needed when traveling to Bangkok?

Thanks

Yes there are 2 bus stations one is in he city area the other about 6 kms away....we went to the city station for bus to Nong Khai and the other Station 2 to Loei.....just tell the skylab (tuk-tuk) your BKK route and i am sure he knows where to bring you..

Chan Tours from central bus station to BKK approx 600 Baht

The main station, only about 1/4 mile from Irish Clock ,Top Mansion, etc. They have small places right next to it for VIP bus service.I dodn't know it until A thai pointed it out to me.Ot's A little tricky.

Tuk Tuk's love the outer Bus Station on the Ring Road, be careful with the quote!

I had to tuktuk from central to the outskirts for the chiang mai bus. I paid less than 100.

2 bus stations that I've been to, one in the centre of town and the other on the outskirts of town. There's also some random place on the side of the road, where buses going to Nong Khai just "Chill out" at, during the evening. I have no idea where this place is, but have had to take a tuk tuk there in the evenings a few times after the scheduled buses to Nong Khai have stopped from the central station.

I've only been to the one on the outskirts once, that was when I took a 2nd class bus from Nong Khai to Udon, I wouldn't recommend it. In general, I'm pretty sure you don't need to goto the bus on the outskirts of the city ver often, only maybe if you're taking a 2nd class bus.
