A gutless, draft-dodging coward named Dick Cheney

The last thing we need in the increasingly bitter Iraq debate is a gutless, draft-dodging coward like Dick Cheney criticizing those who did serve their country.

The Vice President, who used multiple deferments to avoid serving his country during the Vietnam conflict, jumped into the fray big time last week and again on Monday with an acrid broadside against those who properly question the President’s motives for dragging the country into the bloody dead-end called Iraq.

“This is revisionism of the most corrupt and shameless variety,” Cheney said yesterday. “It has no place anywhere in American politics.”

Sorry Dickie boy, but it is you and your cronies at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue who have “no place anywhere in American politics.” It is hypocrites like you, you shameless, cowardly son-of-a-bitch, who should be led from the White House in chains and locked away in some hellhole to rot for eternity.

American politics is cursed with chicken hawk politicians who do everything in their power to avoid serving their country and then vote to send other Americans to fight and die for their questionable wars. Bill Clinton used falsified documents to secure and keep his student deferments in place. Congress is littered with false patriots, Republican and Democrat alike, who avoided military service. And the biggest warmonger of them all, George W. Bush, needed daddy’s connections to ride out the war at home in the safety of the Texas Air National Guard and couldn’t even complete that service.

But Cheney’s hypocrisy goes even further because his tirade on Monday was aimed primarily at Congressman John Murtha, the Pennsylvania Democrat who did serve his country, spending 37 years in the Marines before retiring as a colonel from the reserves and earning a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts in Vietnam.

Murtha, one of the most hawkish Democrats in Congress, has – like so many other Americans – realized he was had by the many deceptions of the Bush administration leading up to the invasion of Iraq and has called for immediate withdrawal of our troops from the debacle that has cost more than 2,000 Americans, and countless Iraqi civilians, their lives.

Murtha calls the Iraq war “a flawed policy wrapped in illusion. The future of our country is at risk. We can not continue on the present course. It is evident that continued military action in Iraq is not in the best interest of the United States of America, the Iraqi people or the Persian Gulf Region.”

Strong words from someone who voted to give Bush the authority to invade Iraq but words that come from someone who understands war a hel_l of a lot better than the cowards in the White House: Strong words from someone who has been there and faced death for his country – something that a draft dodger like Dick Cheney can never, ever understand.

It’s bad enough when Bush uses Veterans Day, a holiday where we are supposed to honor those who serve our country, to spread his Iraq invasion propaganda and criticize those who dare question his failed policies. As Americans we have the freedom to agree or disagree with war but it is our duty to serve her when she calls. Draft dodgers are the worst kind of traitors to our country. They avoided the call and are nothing but despicable.

Dick Cheney is a coward and a liar who represents an administration run by crooks and frauds. When I see someone like that criticizing someone who served their country in war, someone twice wounded on the field of battle, I consider the source.

And, in this case, the source is nothing more than white, lying, draft-dodging trash. To use one of your own favorite phrases, Mr. Vice President, we suggest you just "###### off."

Just a small sample of the hard-hitting speech Cheney gave yesterday blowing all those left-wing liberal booger-eatin' moh-ran moonbat appeasing bleeding-heart Jane fonda lovers back to reality!:

"Some of the most irresponsible comments have come from politicians who actually voted in favor of authorizing the use of force against Saddam Hussein. These are elected officials who had access to the intelligence materials. They are known to have a high opinion of their own analytical capabilities. (Laughter.) And they were free to reach their own judgments based upon the evidence. They concluded, as the President and I had concluded, and as the previous administration had concluded, that Saddam Hussein was a threat. Available intelligence indicated that the dictator of Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and this judgment was shared by the intelligence agencies of many other nations, according to the bipartisan Silberman-Robb Commission. All of us understood, as well, that for more than a decade, the U.N. Security Council had demanded that Saddam Hussein make a full accounting of his weapons programs. The burden of proof was entirely on the dictator of Iraq -- not on the U.N. or the United States or anyone else. And he repeatedly refused to comply throughout the course of the decade." :o

Cheney Blasts War

Critics, Praises Rep Murtha

By Adam Entous

11-22-5

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney denied on Monday that he was trying to stifle Iraq war dissent by attacking the administration's critics, but he said Democratic charges that the president intentionally twisted prewar intelligence crossed the line.

"This is revisionism of the most corrupt and shameless variety. It has no place anywhere in American politics, much less in the United States Senate," said Cheney.

He also dismissed a call for a rapid U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq, calling it a dangerous illusion that would threaten the future security of the United States.

Cheney's comments were the latest in an acrimonious political debate in Washington over the progress and origins of the Iraq war at a time when President George W. Bush's approval ratings have fallen to new lows.

Cheney, who issued dire warnings before the 2003 invasion about the threat posed by Iraqi weapons programs and links to al Qaeda, said the administration presented the best available intelligence about Iraq's weapons programs.

He said it had not been Washington's responsibility to prove Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction before invading -- but Saddam's to show that he did not have them. :o

"Any suggestion that prewar information was distorted, hyped, fabricated by the leader of the nation is utterly false," Cheney said, decrying what he called the "self-defeating pessimism" of Democrats.

Under mounting fire over the rising death toll and the way prewar intelligence was used, the White House and its Republican allies have lashed out at congressional Democrats, suggesting they are providing comfort to Washington's enemy and undermining troop morale.

TROOP WITHDRAWAL

Last week Democratic Rep. John Murtha, a decorated former U.S. Marine, drew a fierce response including accusations of cowardice from some Republicans, after advocating a swift pull-out of U.S. troops.

Cheney said a rapid withdrawal would amount to a "victory for the terrorists, an invitation to further violence against free nations and a terrible blow to the future security of the United States of America."

Where was this whining bee-atch for the last 30 some-odd years of Cheney's political career? Nowhere to be found. So what is all this now? Just partisan whining and sour grapes!

The fact is that a lot of people got military deferments in the 60's (as well as the 70's, 50's, 40's etc.) because they were permitted by law.

On the other hand, some people like your consumate idol, the former liar in chief skirted the law in avoiding the draft as shown by this first public emergence of his unethical behavior from his own draft-dodging days in the late 60's:

Yeah ... "a legitimate glitch" ...

Sure ...

- and Fat Teddy driving off the bridge and leaving MaryJo to drown was a legitimate glitch

- and Clinton getting caught repeatedly smoking grass in the white house was a legitimate glitch

- and "Sheets" Byrd getting caught at a KKK rally was a legitimate glitch

An old poker tactic is that when you get caught in a bluff you fold your hand unless you have something better in store. CNN got caught with their pants down yet again. Serves them right when someone tries to stick it up their backside.

Yep. Going to war on a false pretense with fake evidence. Priceless.

The whimsical venom of Dick Cheney

by Don Nash, Unknown News

Nov. 25, 2005

George Bush’s rottweiler-in-chief Dick Cheney is out on the stump. Prowl? It seems that somehow a debate has begun over pre-Iraq war intelligence and whether or not Bush lied America into his illegal preemptive war of aggression on the sovereign nation of Iraq.

Granted, this “debate” is about three years over due and the entire affair is as preposterous as it is wholly disingenuous. But, we are having the “debate” so here comes the presidential attack dog. Bark, bark, bark!

Cheney, our man without human heart, has been giving speeches at the American Enterprise Institute. The AEI, as it is lovingly referred to in Babylon, has given America such luminaries as Richard Perle and various other Republican criminals that are currently or very soon to be serving time in federal correctional institutions.

Cheney gave a speech on Monday November 21, 2005 at the old AEI and accused critics of Bush’s illegal war of “engaging in revisionism of the most corrupt and shameless variety.”

Oh Dickey, you are one funny guy. Bush’s illegal preemptive war of aggression on Iraq is certainly shameless. The administration’s handling of the war is certainly corrupt. Jeez Dick, how much money has Halliburton made off of the war? Jeez Dick, remember all of those ‘no-bid’ contracts that you secured for your old pals at Halliburton? One could certainly conclude that war profiteering is corrupt, shameless, and highly profitable for you and Halliburton. Shameless!

Dick says, “Democratic critics of the war are lying when they say Bush lied about prewar intelligence to justify the invasion of Iraq.” Allow me to interrupt, “I know you are but what am I?” One liar is calling the other liar a liar. In the everyday vernacular of normal people, this is known as a convoluted cluster copulation. Or a three way circle jerk. I’ll have to consult with David Brooks of the New York Times for a clarification.

Dick continues, “any suggestion that prewar information was distorted, hyped, (or) fabricated by the leader of the nation is utterly false.” Notice that Cheney does NOT say ‘intelligence’, Cheney says “information.” This is classic Frank Luntz spin. An Orwellian ballet of epic and repugnant proportion. The pre-war intelligence WAS distorted, hyped, and fabricated, but not the “information.” Pretty slick, no?

But wait, there’s more. Cheney says, “the self-defeating pessimism of many Democrats... to begin withdrawing from Iraq now, would be a victory for the terrorists.” Rottweiler Dick is alluding to Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) and his call to “re-deploy” American troops somewhere outside Iraq. Murtha’s call is inadequate but it’s more than America has received from Bush, his dog Dick, or most of the Democrats in Congress.

By the by, most of the Democrats in Congress have been woefully silent on Murtha’s proposal. Israel’s obedient floozy in Congress, Nancy Pelosi, didn’t have word one to say about Murtha’s idea. Good job, Madam Minority Leader. The Likud has nothing to worry about with you on the job. Americans have every reason to worry with you in our Congress and especially American mothers with their precious children serving in America’s military. “Killing us softly with silence...” But, back to Dick.

Cheney says, “withdrawing from Iraq now... would be a victory for the terrorists.” Someone needs to take rottweiler Dick by the hand and sit him down and explain to him in simple basic uncomplicated English, that it’s the innocent Iraqi men, women, and children who are dying in Iraq. It’s American service men and women that are dying in Iraq. The Iraq fiasco perpetrated by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, and that Rice lady is FAILING! It has failed and is a continuing series of horrendous and murderous failures on top of stupid and ill-conceived failures.

The rhymes, reasons, rationales, ridiculous innuendo, falsehoods, fabrications, and deceits that were run on the American people and the world communities by Bush and Cheney pre-war are exposed for the lies that they were. So this supposed “debate” that is wracking America is mere grist for the media grinders. Iraq under Saddam Hussein was in no manner connected to the excuse that is 9/11/2001. That’s according to the whiz-bang high commission on 9/11/2001’s report that was commissioned by Bush’s imperial edict.

Iraq had NO NONE NADA NOT ANY weapons of mass destruction pre-9/11/2001 or post 9/11/2001. That’s according to the whiz-bang report issued by one Charles Duelfer. Duelfer was commissioned by Bush’s imperial edict to go to Iraq and find those weapons of mass destruction. Duelfer concluded that Iraq was sans those WMDs for about ten years prior to 9/11/2001. Whoops, Bush’s bad.

Remember when Imperial George was in the Oval Office doing his comedy routine for the media about WMDs being behind the curtains, behind his desk, and under the carpets? That George is one laugh riot! Wasn’t very funny then and it sure as hel_l isn’t funny now that rottweiler Dick is out on the attack reminding America what a bunch of liars they really and in stark truth are.

Iraq posed NO imminent 45 minute threat to America. No threat, nuclear, WMD, or conventional, in any manner. Remember America, that Rice lady was out and about on all the Sunday pundit programs telling Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, and the clowns at Fox that Iraq WAS an imminent threat.

Jeez Dick, remind me again about what it is we are supposed to be debating? Oh right, pre-war “information.” I couldn’t give a flying rat’s anus about your information. It’s the intelligence that was distorted, hyped, fabricated, and used to drag America into one illegal and genocidal destruction of the sovereign nation of Iraq. You LIED to me, her, and the American people. You lied to the entire planet.

Jeez Dick, now you want to cop some quiet time over “revisionism?” Wrong, my rabid little decepticon. The truth about your little preconceived notion for wrecking Iraq is public record. The facts stand as delivered. Granted, the delivery of the aforementioned facts has been labored and painful. Almost like pulling teeth from an attack rottweiler.

The problem now is, Dick, you just seem petty and vicious. The problem now is, Dick, you’re just bombastic and in denial. You and your imperial leader of a president are caught cold, callous, and uncaring. You and George are caught in a deception that is more than likely going to get you impeached.

Wouldn’t that be an historical first? A sitting American president and vice-president are impeached and then sent forthwith in chains to visit with the nice judges at the International Criminal Court at the Hague. Now that is a debate that America SHOULD be having. Whether impeachment is sufficient or whether impeachment and then sending your lying behind to the Hague would be a bonus round of winner takes all.

It all bottom lines this way, Dickey boy: You lied and you continue in an abhorrent harangue of all out cataclysmic deceptions. Anyone and everyone that disagrees with you and George our wonder president is supposedly according to you, “corrupt and shameless.” Well Mr. Veep without human heart, the truth is out there and it WILL grab you by the proverbial scruff of your neck and rub your growing nose directly into it. You are in no uncertain terms, our planet’s foremost insufferable weaseling little prick, and I say that in absolute truth, based on information un-distorted, un-hyped, and un-fabricated.

Cheney authorised aide to leak in CIA case, says report

10.02.06 2.15pm

WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney directed his aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby to use classified material to discredit a critic of the Bush administration's Iraq war effort, the National Journal reported today.

Court papers released last week show that Libby was authorized to disclose classified information to news reporters by "his superiors," in an effort to counteract diplomat Joe Wilson's charge that the Bush administration twisted intelligence on Iraq's nuclear weapons to justify the 2003 invasion.

The National Journal, a US weekly magazine, citing attorneys familiar with the matter, reported that Cheney was among those superiors referred to in a letter from prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald to Libby's lawyers.

A lawyer for Cheney had no immediate comment.

Libby, Cheney's former chief of staff, faces perjury and other charges in the leak of the identity of Wilson's wife Valerie Plame, a move that effectively ended her career at the CIA.

Libby has pleaded not guilty to five counts of perjury, making false statements and obstruction of justice.

Cheney's name has surfaced in other court documents as well. According to an appeals-court decision made public last Friday, "the vice-president informed Libby 'in an off sort of curiosity sort of fashion"' that Wilson's wife worked at the CIA one month before her identity was made public.

Both documents cite testimony Libby made to a grand jury.

Lawyers for Libby could not be reached for comment.

Sen Edward Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat, said Cheney's efforts to discredit Wilson could have risked national security.

"The Vice President's vindictiveness in defending the misguided war in Iraq is obvious. If he used classified information to defend it, he should be prepared to take full responsibility," Kennedy said in a statement.

White House spokesman Scott McClellan declined to comment.

"Our policy is we're not going to discuss this while there's an ongoing legal proceeding," McClellan told reporters.

Bunch of crooks anyhow, like TAXIN, he will get away with it :o

Actually is he still alive ? rumor is that he is in a coma lying somewhere :D
