Cracks In Runway At Suvarnabhumi Airport

PM THAKSIN HELD A MEETING TO FOLLOW UP WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said after the meeting with the management commission of the Airports of Thailand Public Company on the construction of the Suvarnabhumi Airport that there has been progress in the construction and some part of the construction work have been completed prior to the scheduled date.

He added that there are no obstacles that will affect the construction.

Prime Minister has expressed his confidence that the construction will be completed within the scheduled time and in December,the international airlines will be invited to view the progress of the construction.

Apart from this, the premier has also talked about the New Year Party which will be held at the Suvarnabhumi Airport that the plan has been returned to related agencies for revision.

PM CONFIDENT THAT SUWANNAPHUM AIRPORT WILL BE COMPLETED ON TIME

As for the countdown party at the Suwannaphum airport, the premier said that the size of the party should be scaled back. He said that the number of participants should be reduced from 250,000 to 120,000, so that the party will not be too big.

Why? So as not to put too much weight on the new runways? :D

More likely because there are no proper roads or public transport systems to bring them there.
