Custom Leather Jacket

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm looking to have a leather jacket made while I'm in bangkok.

Here's the thing, I'm not looking for a bargain. I've got plenty of leather jackets at home so I'm looking for a well made addition to the collection.

I need a tailor with whom I can be very specific since the jacket in itself is very "concept".

I have a blazer in a similar dessign already that I will bring for reference but the tailor need to have a keen sense of how it will turn out and what changes needs to be made to make it work

All suggestions are welcome

There is a very good leather craftsman located on a sub-soi off Sukhumvit Soi 12. If you walk about 200 meters down 12, take the subsoi to the left opposite the big Population Development NGO complex by Cabbages and Condoms restaurant. Walk down the subsoi and his shop is about 60 or 70 meters on the right.

He made a very nice vest for a friend of mine.

Thanks ddDave for your recommendation regarding the leather craftsmen, I visited this shop on Monday to have a leather vest/waistcoat made. I showed the guys a picture of what I wanted, they took all my measurements and we agreed a price etc. We agreed that I would come back on Wednesday (48 hours later) for a fitting, went back and they had finished the jacket, fitted perfectly. Really great service, I would be happy to recommend them to anyone wanting a bespoke leather jacket, shirt, waistcoat/vest or even skirt for the wife/girlfriend/lover. The shop name is Apichart, 29 Sukhumvit Road, Soi 12, Bangkok 10110, tel: 0222 94771
