Hiya all

my missus and I have married in a different province from the one she is registered at and they will not hcange the I.D card.

Will it matter if we are married and I hand in her I.D card, passport etc with her family name on, not my name?

Please let me know, thanks all :o

Lopburiguy,

Which amphur won't change her ID card: the one where you married, or your wife's home one? If the one at which you married, then she can change the name at her local office.

Nonetheless, the fact that your wife's ID card is in her maiden name doesn't impact upon her visa application. It is the marriage certificate which is the most important document to show.

Cheers,

Scouse.

Hiya Scouse

good to be back in LOS anyways. :D

They would not change her I.D card in the Amphur where we married. I know she has to change within 60 days the card, was just wondering about that having to be change before handing in settlement application?

Also one more thing, both my wife Birth Certificate and marriage cert have to be translated right? For the Settlement docs?

Thanks again. Nearly there but IO am sure 20 more questions will come in the next few days!

Thanks Scouse :o
