Need Recommendation For Hotel Near Us Embassy

Featured Replies

Looking for a hotel near the US embassy (maybe Silom/Sathorn/Surawong area) that is suitable for myself, my wife and two small toddlers. Have an appointment at the US embassy at 7:30 am and can't get the children up early enough otherwise.

Must have parking and be relatively well sound proofed.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Unfortunately most of the hotel websites do not say whether they have adequate guest parking or not.

Thank you for any assistance.

The OP said 1000 baht range,

I think the Plaza Athenee is about 5000 Baht and the Evergreen about the same.

You might try the Golden Palace Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 1.

Older Hotel. Clean. 1350 per night for the Deluxe room. Parking.

Free breakfast. Free Wifi. Easy Taxi to Embassy. You'll have to ask to

make sure you have a quiet room away from the soi.

IF a HTL has no own parking/lot, they surely will know where to park your ca- a nearby garage or so. Anyway; that car will be useless anyway to go to embassy.

The only HTL in roughly that range that comes to my mind, is the sawasdee chain- on lang Suan- a 5-7 min walk. Basic HTL, in a large chain of superbudget HTLs. Otrerwise: as you mention about the whole centre core of BKK it seems anything close by to BTS would suit you-and then there are 100s.

not a high brand one but very nice hotel.

it is in Soi Ruamrudee and they have 24hr taxi available for free.

i think it takes like 5 minutes from the hotel to the embassy by the free taxi.

hope this help
