Cheap Vitamins

Featured Replies

Where is a good place to buy vitamins?

An option is to get some shipped from O/S, would I have to pay any tax ?

Moved to the main health forum as it seems more appropriate there.

You can get vitamins at any pharmacy

Places like Boots/Watsons etc carry a number of imported brands.

Depending on what it is you want, there may be good locally made preparations as well.

GNC shops carry more exotic preparations, but are costly

As for having shipped from o/s, yes, subject to duty tax although customs sometimes seems to bother and sometimes not. (More likely to bother if it is a commercial package and/or large in size or declared value). When they do, the tax on nutritional supplements is quite high, I think 100% or more of declared value. So best to buy here if you can.

If you can give some details about what sort of vitamins and where you live, folks can offer more specific advice on where to purchase.

There's no such thing as cheap vitamins in Thailand. Even the Thai version of Blackmores, one of the man imported brands, keep their prices nearly the same. The Thai brands are just repackaged and relabelled imported products.

Better off just to stick with Blackmores. They are good vitamins.

To be fair, vitamins are never cheap in any country.
