Truemove H - Static When Calling Out?

Featured Replies

Recently switched from AIS to Truemove H and so far happy with 3G speeds, like I saw in another thread sometimes 3G is faster than my Wifi at home.

When making a phone instead of the usual dial tone I would hear static, and if the someone answers is gets louder and I end up hanging up. However call back they tell me that they were able to hear me fine, it doesn't happen every time just but maybe once a day. With AIS I have never had this problem before.

Has anyone experienced the same? I am using an iPhone 4.

Samething on Iphone 4s. Sometimes when people call me they get connected to a totally different number too.

I guess that's teething problems with the brand new True-H network.

I'll get to enjoy that starting next week, just applied. Have to say True customer service is really very professional, the whole process took maybe 3 minutes, filling out forms, making a copy of passport and all. And I get the same package (migrating from True)... perfect.

How do you get to hear a dial tone on an iPhone4? (...asks the luddite who barely knows the features of his own iPhone4)

Glad to hear you had a good experience. i had a horrid one. I was trying to transfer my number from AIS to Truemove-H. I followed the instructions Truemove-H gave me to transfer the number and nothing happened after a week. Went to Truemove-H for support and got told it was my fault and they wouldn't help me. Went to another shop a few hours later and got it sorted out with an apology and money back too.

i guess he meant the ringing tone when you already got connected. there's no dial tone on any mobile phone, and there never was... my kids probably won't even know what a dial tone is...

Was that at the official True shop? There were no instructions, the nice lady just said "sign here" and then proceeded to fill in the form for me... as it should be :)

Yes, official one in Big C Extra along Ratchadapisek Road. They are terrible buggers there. I find them to be very unpleasant, but sometimes I'm too lazy to go elsewhere so I get what's coming to me I guess. I find the Truemove shop at Fortune Tower to be lovely and very helpful.

I didn't *think* there was a dial tone, but unless I ask...
