Internet In My Bangkok Apartment

I live in an apartment in Bangkok that comes with LAN internet but it's very slow and unreliable. Can anyone tell me the options I have to recieve faster internet in my room without installing something which would probably not be allowed.

I don't live in central Bangkok (Bang Sue) so do you think an aircard would work where I am?

It will work the whole of Thailand but not sure if you could get 3G. You have a 3G phone perhaps connect via your phone ?

AIS 3G should work in Bang Sue, we're a lot further out (Bangkadi) and get 3G, just
