Just migrated to True Move H from True Move, and could not use internet. Turns out you cant set the APN settings yourself, you need to connect to iTunes,

Actually, all you needed to do is update the Carriers Settings for TrueMove H. You can do this through iTunes, but you can also do it while connected to the internet via a Wi-Fi network. Just select Settings > General > About, and you should receive a prompt to update to the latest carriers settings for TrueMove H.

The ability to update the APN is determined by the carrier settings, and not the iPhone itself. When I went from dtac to the TrueMove H iSIM, I was able to update the APN because datc's carrier settings allow this. Now that I have a TrueMove H iPhone SIM in my phone, I can not.

Interesting!

Whenever my mobile data doesnt work I do a general->reset->network settings

Worked for True-H.

But it also resets WiFi settings so its a little annoying. Going to try jamesbrock tip next time!

Agreed - if u have the settings already, that will work, but if migrating to new provider, that won't work.
