The headline may give you the wrong impression. No, I’m not looking for a mail order bride. Rather, the daughter of a friend in Australia wants to hold her upcoming wedding ceremony in some exotic location somewhere in South East Asia. I’d imagine that there’d be many idealic locations in Thailand, Lao or Cambodia that would provide a memorable backdrop for swapping marital vows. Does anyone know whether there are any organizations that specialize in arranging weddings either in Thailand or in this neighborhood

She will act as a wedding planner and do all the floral arrangements etc. I wholey recommend her.

Odd fact, I believe her husband directed famous Thai horror films like Shutter... Funny juxtapose in professions.

I went to an absolutely awesome wedding on Koh Samui in September.

The couple used a company ( http://www.weddingsinthailand.com/faraway-wedding-villa-koh-samui.php) and the wedding planner arranged everything. The groom arrived on an Elephant, they had dancing girls, local singers, a band, disco just about everything you could ever want.

The location is right on the beach and is probably the best wedding I have been to.
