Transport Center

Featured Replies

hi i just wondered if anyone else has had this experience.

i arrived at suvarnabhuni at 11pm, i wanted to get into bkk city, got a shuttle bus to the transport centre by 11.15

only to find virtualy no buses 1 very irrate man in a ticket office and i mini van who offered to take me me bangna bts for 100 baht.

do all the busses finish by a certain time in the evening ?

are there any public buses into town ?

i didn't think that 11.15pm was so late!!!!!!!!

you should have walked down two floors from arrivals and take the Airport Rail link (runs until midnight)

Might be why yo could not a find a bus into town any more at that time of the night....

The regular 500 series buses to various points in BKK generally finish late evening, but after that there are minibuses which run all night and service airport staff. They cost around 35 Baht from memory. Your only problem if you can't read Thai is that most have signs in Thai on the dashboard, and few have their route in English, in which case your best bet is to ask around for your destination. They are generally parked on the opposite side of the "quay" from the 500 buses and seem to only leave when full, so you may have a wait.

Stick to the train, unless you need to go in a different direction.
