Anyone been to DreamWorld? Any recomendations about the place on what to see & do? Is it worth it? Are there any dark rides (exhibits that aim to scare) ? A chick I've known for quite a while wants to go, & I'm always up for rides too.

Actually, same question for Safari Wrold too..

Thanks- stevo

I have been to Dreamworld. I took my gf and her 7 year old nephew. It is not bad but I would say it is aimed at kids more than adults. They have some larger rides for the adults and they do a good stunt show with lots of explosions and falling off buildings.

If you are from the UK I would say it is more like Camelot than Alton Towers.

If you work here take your work permit or you will be charged the farang price.

they have one half decent roller coaster. it doesn't do any inverted loops or anything cool but for a thai whoes never been on anything like that, it's a blast.

Went there last year and had a lot of fun on ice mountain and managed to convince her the UK is that cold for 9 months of the year

The ride's were good for the g/f but then she has never been on big roller coasters all in all we had a very enjoyable day out

I went on a school trip - the kids loved it, I really loved the snow area. Not sure for the whole thing for adults, but like anywhere like that, its good for a pleasant day out.

:o Went last year with girls, not a fab day by any stretch of the imagination. The rides that they went on were tame (and lame) and did not look too well maintained to me. The snow place was a total take on. I could have done a better job defrosting my freezer. Just a load of slush and a hill to sledge down.

I though the snowy bit was the best - it wasnt sludgy when we went, it was dead good. Maybe im too easily pleased?

Snow in thailand , is this an indoor thing or...........where is it located ?

It is real snow from a snow blower machine,

but sound like it is not well maintianed.

Needs to be freshened up every so often.

Probably too warm as well, like the ice rink at Maboonkron that is also slush

by the time the midday break comes.

Both are a real novelty for a Thai, especially the kids.
