Mr. ONG-ART commented on the case where Political and Economic Risk Consultancy (PERC) ranked Thailand at 7th place in commercial expansion for this year, which is lower than the previous year. PERC also pointed out that Thailand has corruption problems, particularly concerning the exploitations of politicians. The Democrat Party views that the research result is reasonable and it is not differ from the actual situation. Therefore, the party has demanded the Prime Minister and other related people to take care of this issue because it can damage the country’s image. In regards to the case where Interior Minister KONGSAK WANTHANA said the government has many accomplishments but lacks public relations activities, the Democrat Spokesperson said the Interior Ministry needs to clarify those accomplishments to the public. He said that over the past four months, he could not see any clear-cut accomplishments.
