Itunes Now Recognizes Thai Songs!

Featured Replies

I just updated my mac and it does appear that Apple has indeed increased recognition of Thai fonts. I now only have a handful of songs in my list that come out as goobely gook. Anyone else concur?

I had this issue a few months ago, and solved it by replacing the font that iTunes uses with a TrueType font which I got from the internet somewhere. It was quite a while ago, so I've forgotten the specifics, but I'm sure a google search will point you in the right direction.

Although, now that I think about it, if it can render Thai characters from one song, but not another - it most likely won't be the font library; it could be the encoding of the IDv3 tag on the track itself.
