Khon Kaen Immigration, User Friendly For Early Retirement Extension?

I have a couple of trips outside the kingdom in March, which would make an early extension preferable, say about 35 -40 days.

I will phone them in advance, but has anyone had experience in this regard.

I know this differs between offices.

Normally you can renew your extension 30 days in advance. You use to be able to renew up to 90 days in advance, but last year I was told by Korat Immigration this was no longer possible. These rules of course may differ between offices.

The KKC office is generally a friendly place to use.

I can't answer definitely, but would think that if you have a good reason to extend early, they'd probably do that for you.

Calling or visiting them to ask is a good idea.

Don't forget to get a re-entry permit at the same time.

Thanks for that, I too have found them quite good in the past, but have never needed an early process.

I think when I used to have Thali as my office, they were no problem for more than 30 days, but that was a few years back.

Am out of country at present, so thought I'd see if anyone had any recent experiences.
