WISE transfer times getting longer - why?
Wise certainly helps in my case because my UK bank have withdrawn their option for initiating SWIFT transfers online, meaning that I'd need to call them instead. I'm concerned that the info I have to provide them for this purpose could be misinterpreted (right down to a single account number digit) because of momentary fades on the phone line (which I've found to be an issue whenever calling them, HMRC, DWP, etc from Thailand), causing a transfer to fail. -

How scared should we be of AI?
Am I the only one that finds the potential ramifications of AI to be quite scary? When we are talking about regenerative Ai, there is almost no limit to how far reaching the implications might be. This from the founder of AI. In the future, Geoffrey Hinton warned, AI systems might be able to control humans just as easily as an adult can bribe 3-year-old with candy. This year has already seen examples of AI systems willing to deceive, cheat and steal to achieve their goals. For example, to avoid being replaced, one AI model tried to blackmail an engineer about an affair it learned about in an email. No evidence shows the U.S. lacks democratic processes, and supports claims of being a dictatorship. if it does, what is the evidence in support of this? It's all hyperbole from the fraudsters here stealing CNN quotes while making ludicrous claims about nothing simply because they are envious of President Trumps spectacular achievements to date. Bunch of liberal haters with nothing but lies and hate based attacks against Trump who could very well be the greatest POTUS in a lifetime! Compared to Biden, its any easy bet, but prove me wrong. -
