May 10, 201213 yr If I was a betting man i'd put money on Hodgson (wrongly in my eyes) taking Zamora. i'm quite sure that hodsgon will throw a couple of curveballs in there. zamora could be one. he could take joey barton. or leave john terry at home. it's going to be interesting and fun any which way.
May 10, 201213 yr The squad for the friendlies is announced on Wednesday. Which is the same Wednesday Hodgson will announce the squad for the Euros. He has until the 29th to make alterations, but I can't see him naming a player and then changing his mind and calling someone else up. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18006881
May 10, 201213 yr he could take joey barton. No, no, no, no, no.....please don't say things like that, that just tempts fate.
May 10, 201213 yr he could take joey barton. No, no, no, no, no.....please don't say things like that, that just tempts fate. OK, OK, no joey barton. he won't be taking joey barton. emile heskey though. . .

May 16, 201213 yr From over here it does not look like Ferdinand will be going, and that is no surprise. Hes not had a good season, Terry is a better defender.
May 16, 201213 yr From over here it does not look like Ferdinand will be going, and that is no surprise. Hes not had a good season, Terry is a better defender. Yes the unofficial gossip from the rumour mill is that Ferdinand is not included, and that all the old faces will be there, plus a few newbies such as Carroll, Jones and Wellbeck. Most notable absences may be Walker, Richards, Crouch and Ferdinand. Foster has reaffirmed his retirement from international football. Gossip from the rags as I say.
May 16, 201213 yr Most notable absences may be Walker, Richards, Crouch and Ferdinand. Something is wrong if at least one from Walker and Richards doesn't make it.
May 16, 201213 yr Author THE SQUAD GOALKEEPERS • Robert Green (West Ham United) • Joe Hart (Manchester City) • John Ruddy (Norwich City) DEFENDERS • Leighton Baines (Everton) • Gary Cahill (Chelsea) • Ashley Cole (Chelsea) • Glen Johnson (Liverpool) • Phil Jones (Manchester United) • Joleon Lescott (Manchester City) • John Terry (Chelsea) MIDFIELDERS • Gareth Barry (Manchester City) • Stewart Downing (Liverpool) • Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) • Frank Lampard (Chelsea) • James Milner (Manchester City) • Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur) • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal) • Theo Walcott (Arsenal) • Ashley Young (Manchester United) FORWARDS • Andy Carroll (Liverpool) • Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) • Daniel Welbeck (Manchester United) • Jermain Defoe (Tottenham Hotspur) Well Walker is injured but i am surprised he chose Jones over Richards but his flexibility maybe have counted. Nice he chose AOC from the Arse reminds me of when they chose Walcott not so long ago. As for Andy "carthorse" Carroll the tournament could make him a better player if he plays but lets be honest here,he is not that good to start with and Crouch would of been the sensible choice. Ok for throwing on for the dreaded long-ball i suppose but i just don't get it,Defoe deserves to go because of his past experience and scoring. Hodgson's gameplan will be known to all and break us down if you can!!!! then we might nick the odd 1-0 win if we piss enough teams off
