High school students Facebook photos ended up on porn site

17 girls, some as young as 14 yeas old and all from the same high school in Massachusetts, were recently called to the dean's office for some shocking news: Pictures of all of them were found on a pornographic website along with their personal information such as their name and the name of their high school.

So who actually found these photos when they were browsing through a porn site; the dean, the parents?

Haha good question, it does say that the website was based in Massachusetts but that doesn't mean that all the people there would know about it :)

Maybe some of the boys in their class stumbled on it during their "research"?

And shows again how easy it is for ersonal photos and data to be stolen from facebook (and other sites).

Can anyone post a link to the web site being referred to? There should be a "references" section at the end of every news article so that readers can do further research.

From the nettechblog.com article:

Let this be yet another reminder to constrict your privacy settings to only allow your friends to see your content on Facebook, you don’t want the whole world to be able to download your holiday photos do you?

However it can be a problem when one or some of those "friends" later become enemies.

Do you mean the website their pictures were posted on? I doubt that the news article would want to link to a site that allegedly contains child pornography.

It's what i've been saying for a long time...facebook ...blahhhhh

It's time to put an end to Facebook.

The only reason I still use it is because I don't want family members to think I unfriend them. I've tried to educate them on its privacy issues to no avail.

make at least sure to never use your real name...... and never use any ID or nickname in any Forum or website twice
