Tommy Robinson Fans UK Riots from Europe
All the people coming across in dinghies and being housed in one place or another , it doesn't really matter what you call them , whether you call them asylum seekers or illegal immigrants , doesn't really make much difference , their accommodation is still being paid for by tax payers -

US Embassy Statement on the Dissolution of Move Forward Party in Thailand
That party touched the 3rd Rail in Thai politics, and got what would be expected. Qui Bono attacking on that front? Speaking of which ... the USA always prints more money to fund their "color revolution" activities and forever-wars. I hope Thailand can be independent from meddling from China AND the USA. I listen to podcasters who take one side or the other - accusing one or the other of meddling, but few who are even-handed on this. Regardless, I wish the USA would ST(hell)Up, and not screw things up for Americans living in Thailand by meddling in Thailand's affairs. I don't think the damage from James Baker III's involvement with the temple on the Cambodian border can ever be fully un-done. And, they lost sway in Cambodia to the Chinese, regardless - to spite all the "US Aid" (CIA) funds they poured into Cambodia and souring relations with Thailand with their failed strategy. -

The Tim Walz thread.
Key take away, the New York Times .... "may have" ... So no basis for their assumption The Atlantic (source) What Trump’s Draft Deferments Reveal Trump’s story is surprisingly typical of his generation—and that’s the real scandal. By Amy J. Rutenberg President Donald Trump’s Vietnam-era draft deferments made headlines again last week when The New York Times reported that, as a favor to Trump’s father, a Queens podiatrist may have written the letter that led to Trump’s I-Y medical deferment. That the story dropped on the same day as Trump made his first visit as commander in chief to American military forces in a conflict zone certainly makes for some interesting optics. But Trump is hardly unique. By the time Trump received his deferment, young men from privileged backgrounds had come to expect they would be able to avoid active-duty military service. His story says less about the president as an individual than about the choices America has made as a society about who should bear the burden of military service. More than 15 million men of Trump’s generation sought to avoid active-duty military service, including George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Dick Cheney, and Dan Quayle. Up to 60 percent of men in the Vietnam generation took active measures to qualify for a deferment from the draft, while up to 90 percent of enlistments in the National Guard were draft-motivated by 1970. ___________________________________________________________ My thoughts ... anyone wanting to avoid that illegal war, more power to them, and they have my deepest respect. You'd have to be an idiot, to go to a foreign land, not by choice, for no reason, to die for the profits of defense contractors. -

Realistically speaking, do you think Trump will last till November?
illisdean? My only point was that you've been going on for months about how polls were useless, now you seem to be posting polls several times a day, I am amused, nothing more. To be clear, I have said all along I don't see how Trump can win, do you not remember that? -

Vance calls out Harris
You're funny. He got no bump from the ear injury. He got no bump for the republican convention (atrocious speech). His VP pick is considered the worst in modern history. He didn't win that debate. His performance was horrible. He didn't answer one question. Biden lost the debate by sadly being himself at this point in his life. Biden stepped down yes. Harris has replaced him and running the most amazing winning culturally exciting POSITIVE VIBES campaign since Obama. It would have been a lucky break for Trump for that debate to have never happened. Then it would be too late to replace Biden. That's your truth in politics, dude. -

giffgaff trouble
This particular bank are very hostile to the idea that anybody living outside the UK has an account with them. I have had to fight them tooth and nail repeatedly to retain my account. I will ponder what you say but such an enquiry may lead them to conclude that I am too much trouble as a customer.- 1

Tommy Robinson Fans UK Riots from Europe
"Your lot"? No sure what you mean about that. I don't belong to any "lot". I just can't understand why people use incorrect info to try to make a point. My comment was not condescending either. I'm genuinely relieved you can understand how things work with regards to illegal immigrants and asylum seekers. It's a shame many others can't -
