Anyone Used A Regus Business Lounge?

Featured Replies

Has anyone used one of the Regus business lounges?

There are four Regus business centres around the Wireless Road area, and judging by the website it will cost either 790 baht or 1690 baht to be able to walk in there whenever you want and have a quiet place with internet to work. Sounds good in theory but I was reading on another site that the Regus internet connections sucked, and I'm specifically looking for a place to work that has fast and stable internet.

So I was wondering if anyone had actually used them: was it quiet, was it busy, do you get a desk or just an armchair, and most importantly, did the internet work well and how fast was it?

Hey Marquis! Saw ur post about Regus, I actually am part of the Regus social media team! Happy to give you a free 7-day trial to try this out yourself. Get in touch with me at josie (dot) tao (at) regus (dot) com

Happy Monday!

Yeah I've used it and you heard right -- the internet does suck there. I guess it comes down to you get what you pay for. My home True ISP (when functioning correctly, i.e. not using one of their non 58.x.x.x IP addresses) is somewhere in the region of 6 times faster download speed with about 1 / 5th of the latency of the Regus network. Also international (Europe) transit time is far superior with not just True but AIS, 3BB compared to Regus network.

Or perhaps it is throttled to death by design -- I paid for 6 months in one go and used it twice in 7 or 8 weeks, good business model, make it so god damned unusable no-one will go there... kaching.
