My wife is from Uttaradit, so North, She's thai, maybe the only one from the look of it...

I dont mind chinese gals but if I really wanted to have one I just would have, thats the good thing about Asia, for a reasonably attractive young bloke with a bit of cash it's just a case of first in best dressed.

My, my . . . you do come across as an arrogant prat . . . but I may be mistaken.

(And it seems like you do well in certain areas of Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya)

Chanthaburi?

I used to live there, in Silaporn Ville . . .

True, lots of Chinese descendants there, even a few Chinese language schools . . . the main hardware stores and furniture stores are Chinese owned . . . not the Thai/Chinese mixes. These people still speak Hokkien or Canto - made my wife's life much easier as she couldn't speak a word of Thai.

The larger rubber plantations and most factories are owned and run by Chinese.

Had a great time being invited to their houses and eating real Chinese food - I think we had more Chinese acquaintances than Thai

Same place. I live in phase 2. My humble opinion it is the best place in Thailand.

Isaan. Met my Thai lady in Pattaya, but NOT in a bar.

Strange, isn't it? Pattaya has so many Isaan people.

Perhaps there is a direct bus service, with squat toilet.

have sure,

My Thai-Chinese Hi-So wife is on the board of one of the biggest corporations in the country. In a land of beautiful women, she is a cover girl. Her father, an Army General, was so delighted that I agreed to marry her that he paid my family 10 million baht sin sot. My father, being Scottish, kept the money for himself.

On the day of the wedding, the new mother in law called in some favours from her Hollywood cronies and the venue was like a film set ( the mother in law owns a major film production company). I didn't get to see my wife for 6 weeks before the wedding as she was in a Nepalese Temple being taught the art of satisfaction ( Kama Sutra style ). At the age of 21, she was still naive in the ways of men and her mother insisted that she learn how to be obedient to me and to serve my every need in the bedroom. I love my Mother In Law, very much.

Realizing that I am the bearer of the precious seed of childhood, my new family insist that I do not work, in case I damage my future fertilization prospects. So I spend all my days lazing by the pool at the family palace. To alleviate the boredom, I have three ( ahem ) hand maidens to attend to my every need. If I ever want to leave the residence, one of the hand maidens calls Uncle Wit, the regional police commander, who arranges police outriders to accompany my limousine. It can be quite embarrassing when I only want to pop out for a packet of Cheerios.

When It is report to the wife that I have left the premises, the hand maidens get chastised for not attending to my every need, and often one get's fired. This results in a totally new hand maiden being delivered to me the next day. It really is a hard life.

I happen to know that every other Thaivisa member has a wife of the same calibre so I won't waste your time telling you where I met mine.

<deleted> I got duped, guess I should have shopped around a bit first.

Mine is from the province of Trat. Not a very well known province. But when I say "Koh Chang", I usually get an "Aha".

Sould I mention that she is 25% Chinese? Oh well, it's done.

I knew the old governor of Trad quite well - a tiny province and quite unimportant, so it is kind of the last stop for the rotating governors.

Nice guy, well educated but no wealth to speak of - a true public servant. He had asked me to do some seminars on rubber plantations and latex yield increase in his area foc. No worries . . . still get a Christmas card from his every year.

I can't find the option of voting for more than one. So far it's Sakon Nakon, Chiang Rai and Mae Sariang. I stay in Chiang Mai.

Your partner has many parents? huh.png

Three separate partners and all have different interests... other than money. They ALL want and need more money. What woman doesn't? The arrangement suits me perfectly and I don't have to go looking for barfines. I can afford to spoil them all... nignoi

You need an other box. My wife was born in Sydney and stayed there until her thai parents moved back to nakon Sawon when she was 9. She then went to Melbourne for four years University and worked for 3 before returning to Thailand herself. I just ticked Central as that is where her parents come from.
