Is there a driving school anywhere in Thailand?

Has any Thai person ever had a driving lesson?

I can't imagine there being much work for an English speaking driving institute. Who knows?

Not very helpful. Sorry.

You've asked a tough one there mate. You say you have only been here for three weeks, then you don't have much idea about the standard of driving in LOS. Shall we just say it leaves a lot to be desired.

You might be able to find an English speaking instructor, but Thailand is not the best place to learn to drive, especially if you want training to the same standard as your own country (where are you from?).

Do a search on the forum, there have been plenty of topics on Thai drivers/motorcyclists, then make your own decision about learning here.

If your from the UK, next time you're there book yourself a one week (or whatever) intensive driving course and test. Having done that, always wear a crash helmet here, I'm talking about four wheels as well as two :D

Do you have a license from your own country?

No, I don't. If I have one, I would have convert it.

I will be here for a period of six months. So hoping that I can get the license before I fly back home.

Maybe you want to ask me why do I want to apply the license here. Reason is simple. It is damm expensive to go for a driving course in Singapore. It is at least 48,000 Baht provided you pass in the first round. :o

Maybe you could just buy one :o Heaven forbid :D

just throwing the stock answer in
